A. Ohio-Only Donations
- Geographic Restriction: Due to legal and administrative requirements as an Ohio-based 501(c)(3) organization, we can only accept monetary donations from individuals and entities located within the state of Ohio.
- Representation: By making a donation, you represent and warrant that you are a resident of, or your donation is legally made from, the state of Ohio.
- Refund Policy: Any donation received from a person or entity outside of Ohio will be refunded in full. We reserve the right to use the address and billing information provided to verify geographic location.
- Payment Processor: Donations are processed by a third-party payment processor, Zeffy. We are not responsible for any fees or actions of Zeffy. Your transaction is governed by Zeffy’s own terms of service and privacy policy.
B. Volunteer & Mailing List
- No Obligation: Subscribing to our mailing list or registering as a volunteer does not create a binding employment or plot-use contract. Volunteer opportunities are subject to availability, approval, and separate volunteer agreements if applicable.
- Communication: By providing your contact information, you consent to receive communications from us regarding volunteer coordination, garden updates, events, and fundraising efforts.
